The technical webinar of ATIF, the Italian Technical Association for Flexography, was held on 18 November 2020 and I contributed on behalf of the Association’s Technical Committee.
My session offered a brief analysis and comparison of the main printing systems that are used to print packaging, with some considerations on how to make the most of the characteristics of flexography: the best printing system for packaging in the world.
Marco Gambardella, president of Atif, opened the session with interesting data on the market situation.
Mauro Lussignoli, also on behalf of the Atif Technical Committee, illustrated the characteristics of the screening systems used in flexography.
Armando Garosci, director of Largo Consumo, moderated the entire event and brought an interesting analysis entitled “Brands, consumers and loyalty: packaging speaks to us (of us)“.
